Experience Required:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience within software engineering and development roles.
• Proficiency in analysis, design, and development of software solutions.
• Proven experience deploying pragmatic achievable solutions within give timeframes.
• End-to-end development and delivery of micro-service and API-based solutions.
• Development and delivery of solutions, both on-premises and cloud (Google preferred).
• Knowledge of quality control, test automation techniques, and production monitoring.
• Ability to work within an Agile environment.
• Understanding of requirements when working with financial services clients.
• Knowledge of low-code platforms (e.g. Appian) is advantageous but not essential.

Technical and Personal Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Tools and diagram techniques to support and articulate software designs, including UI.
• Familiarity with DevOps and/or DevSecOps practices.
• Data technologies, including No-SQL, SQL, and interchange formats such as JSON.
• Back-end micro-services technologies (such as Java with Spring Boot) and Kubernetes.
• Front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocol.
• Scripting technologies, including Python 2.x, 3.x, Anaconda, and PIP.
• Quality control technologies (such as SonarQube and Selenium) and security testing.
• Git/GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD technologies (such as Node/NPM, Maven, etc.).
• Integration technologies (such as RabbitMQ for messaging) and API gateways.
• Cloud and on-premises foundation technologies (such as VMs, networking, gateways)
