As part of our growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Lead to guide and optimize our DevOps processes and infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our software product suite.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Lead, you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, lead a team of DevOps engineers, and drive automation initiatives to enhance our CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and containerization technologies, with a passion for mentoring and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps Function : Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices and high performance in the delivery pipeline.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Implement and manage IaC using Terraform and manage configurations with Ansible to ensure consistency and automation.
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership : Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated software delivery.
• System Monitoring and Optimization : Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Automation Initiatives : Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align infrastructure with product requirements and deliverables.
• Containerization and Orchestration : Manage and deploy containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Ansible is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, automation techniques, and best practices.
• Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for complex software delivery processes.
• Hands-on expertise with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both development and infrastructure environments.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with security practices in cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across teams and mentor junior engineers.
