Working hours: Flexible (Presence from 9 PM IST to 12 AM IST is a must)


Job description

We are looking for a Devops LEAD to help us build, deploy and manage functional applications with over all 7+ years of experience where in minimum 1+ years in managing a team. (THIS ROLE IS INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTER + TEAM MANAGEMENT ROLE)


Responsibilities

  1. Planning, design, management, maintenance and support of cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads that operate at an enterprise scale
  2. Drive automation of tasks and implementation of infrastructure services
  3. Identify and rectify potential risks within the infrastructure, network or security
  4. Research, setup, testing and implementation of technologies and solutions to improve the performance, reliability, availability, security and efficiency of infrastructure on AWS
  5. Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and working closely with the developers to implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident
  6. Software architecture design skills for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance
  7. Documenting and auditing DevOps practices
  8. Provide leadership and directions to DevOps engineers

 

 Skill set

  1. Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and related cluster components such as logging, metrics, security, RBAC, autoscaling etc.  
  2. 7 years of experience in AWS, including minimum 1+ years in a Lead DevOps role, with expertise in a broad range of AWS technologies such as EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, DynamoDB, Secret Manager, and Guard Duty
  3. Expertise in DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Bash Scripting, CI/CD, etc.
  4. Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Go.
  5. Expertise in automating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  6. Experienced in a 24x7x365 uptime Amazon AWS environment leveraging git repositories and CI/CD tools like TeamCity
  7. Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues (e.g. by using APM tools like NewRelic, Dynatrace, etc)
  8. Experience working with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus preferred)
  9. Knows the best practice and cloud security (AWS Well-Architected Framework)
  10. You are comfortable working in an agile environment with a globally-distributed team
  11. Good to have knowledge of logging and tracking issues in JIRA
  12. Strong Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
