We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Lead Data Integration Engineer to join our team, where you will take on critical leadership responsibilities in designing, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions. This position involves overseeing ETL development efforts, directing cross-functional collaborations, mentoring team members, and ensuring the efficient operation of our enterprise data warehouse.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise the development and enhancement of complex ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Take ownership of the solution design process, configuring and unit testing solutions based on source-to-target specifications
  • Drive collaboration with data architects, application teams, and reporting stakeholders to align ETL development efforts with organizational goals
  • Oversee the design, documentation, and implementation of robust ETL solutions, estimate work efforts, and monitor task status updates across the team
  • Manage and coordinate offshore and onshore ETL development efforts, including task allocation and quality assurance
  • Provide oversight for technical support related to Informatica administration and serve as an escalation point to troubleshoot production issues effectively
  • Ensure the preparation and maintenance of technical runbooks documenting code, processes, and support requirements
  • Identify and champion the implementation of improvements to enterprise data warehouse environments in collaboration with offshore teams and stakeholders
  • Define and enforce best practices and methodologies for ETL development across teams
  • Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and career development guidance to junior and mid-level ETL developers
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations effectively while ensuring technical deliverables align with business requirements


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes
  • 1+ years of experience in a lead development role for a data warehouse
  • Advanced background in working with complex SQL and demonstrated expertise in ETL development
  • In-depth knowledge of integration technologies, enterprise data principles, and processes
  • Strong understanding of Kimball, Inmon, or Millbrook data warehouse design methodologies and their applications
  • Experience in implementing EDW reconciliation solutions and using advanced testing tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in working within Windows environments and familiarity with other operational environments where applicable
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills, with proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • English proficiency at a B2+ level
