A globally recognized investment firm is scaling its Data Platforms team and looking for a Lead Data Engineer to own system design, infrastructure, and the implementation of cutting-edge initiatives like Data Mesh and Data Fabric.
You'll collaborate across public & alternative investments teams and lead impactful projects that directly influence how data is accessed, governed, and scaled across the enterprise.
✨ What You'll Do:
* Architect scalable data systems using AWS, PySpark, Iceberg, Airflow, Terraform
* Build and maintain large-scale ETL pipelines and analytics platforms
* Mentor engineers, own delivery, and set engineering standards
* Lead the implementation of high-impact data strategies across business units
✅ We're Looking For:
* 6+ years in data engineering / infrastructure
* Strong system design experience (not just pipelines!)
* Deep experience with AWS (Glue, EMR, Athena, etc.), Iceberg, PySpark
* Infra-as-code: Terraform, GitHub Actions
* Bonus: Experience at high-growth fintechs
