Brady Corporation is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team. Our team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise data platforms from multiple applications and sources to meet data analytics needs. We partner with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Operations business users and data scientists to help develop data-driven insights and make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, and a business-focused problem solver who is passionate about working with data and building data analytical solutions that address business needs.
* Work with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations team, and business users to identify data needs and provide analytical support.
* Present and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Understand the relationship of the data in the source systems, such as SAP, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.
* Map data from various sources into a standardized format for analysis and reporting.
* Track data end-to-end from the source system, through multiple data transformations, and to the reporting measures.
* Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets, perform data validation, and generate insights.
* Coordinate user acceptance testing and feedback sessions, and document enhancement requirements.
* Develop and establish a Data Quality framework to improve data quality in partnership with data stewards and data owners.
* Understand data warehouse concepts, dimensional data models, and architectures.
* Work collaboratively within an Agile team to meet delivery commitments.
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
* 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or business analyst developing reporting or data analytics solutions
* Experience with SAP data is desirable
* Strong SQL and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
* Experience and proficiency in data technologies and tools. Preference for the following:
* Data Platform: Google BigQuery, SQL Server, Power BI
* Data Quality and Data Catalog tools
