Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter/Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with established quality standards. This role requires proficiency in project scheduling, contract management, and effective communication with stakeholders. THis is not a desk job adn you wil be working in the field. We may hire two poepel depedning on skill sets but we are in need of a lead carpenter who can execute all tasks behind a tool belt and someoen to manage our projects on site on a daily basis. Duties Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets. Utilize software tools for job management. Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction processes effectively. Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Conduct regular meetings with team members to review project status and resolve challenges. Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment on-site. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to facilitate collaboration. Requirements Proven experience in construction as well as project management. Strong skills in time management and organizational abilities. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Familiarity with project scheduling methodologies is preferred.
