At EPAM, we're looking for a Lead Azure Systems Engineer to work collaboratively on client projects across diverse verticals including FinTech, Big Tech, Life Sciences, Media and Entertainment, among others. This role invites you to contribute significantly to our projects while continually enhancing your expertise through our comprehensive learning ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a proactive mindset and a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies, e.g. GenAI, LLM and Copilots
• Lead the implementation and management of Azure cloud services with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab
• Write and maintain high-quality, reusable code and manage configurations through scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Configure, monitor and maintain cost-effective, scalable and resilient Microsoft Azure solutions
• Create clear, comprehensive technical support documentation, reusable assets and guidance materials
• Provide technical direction for DevOps initiatives across different solution groups and third-party vendors
• Collaborate effectively with developers, architects and project managers to identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve application performance and ensure smooth deployments
  
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab or similar tools
• Fluency in written and spoken English and German
• Competence in communication to clients and presentation of the project implementation progress (for DevOps related tasks)
• Flexibility working from our offices and visiting clients if required
• Willingness to lead project teams and to guide client employees
• Experience in interpretation of high-level architecture designs into implementation tasks
• Expertise in creation of Low-Level (technical) solution designs
• DevOps Full Stack: Practical knowledge of DevOps practices across the full stack (database, services, code, deployment and monitoring) within Azure Cloud
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes and Helm

• Having regular developer's experience
• Understanding of Cloud best practices established in the marked, such as Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework
