Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our dynamic avionics team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics, harness design, sensors/cameras, and RF communication, preferably from the automotive industry or a similar field. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and testing of avionics systems for our aerospace projects.

Roles And Responsibility

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of avionics systems for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems.
• Design and optimize electronics components for weight, power consumption, and performance.
• Develop wiring harnesses and ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
• Select, integrate, and test sensors, cameras, and other avionics peripherals.
• Design and implement RF communication systems for data transmission and telemetry.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of avionics systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and testing phases.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in avionics technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance and functionality.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the avionics team.
  
  

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics design and development, with a focus on electronics, harness design, sensors/cameras, and RF communication.

Proven track record of successfully leading complex avionics projects from concept to production. Extensive knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations

Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and PCB layout.

Experience with RF communication protocols and technologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and results-driven approach.

Experience in the automotive industry or a similar field with exposure to complex electronic systems.

Familiarity with simulation tools for modeling and testing avionics systems.

Knowledge of certification processes for aerospace electronics.

Experience with software-defined radios and digital signal processing techniques.
