Summary

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead API Product Manager to spearhead the growth and strategic direction of our Card Issuing API product line. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and impactful API products. This role is critical in shaping the product vision, driving strategy, and aligning teams across the organization as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the Card Issuing API, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Lead, inspire and mentor a team of product managers, fostering their growth while creating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver API capabilities, balancing technical feasibility with business priorities.
  • Act as a champion for API usability and best practices, ensuring exceptional developer experience through strong documentation and functionality.
  • Drive cross-team alignment to execute initiatives efficiently and improve team processes.
  • Engage directly in product development, from defining requirements to reviewing technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Represent the product line in leadership discussions, providing insights and updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading teams and scaling API-first products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to define a product vision and execute it effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and empowering team members.
  • Deep understanding of API development, usability, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a startup or rapidly scaling organization.
  • Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and excited by challenges.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have:

  • Interest or experience in Web3 and Fintech.
  • A degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A collaborative and team-player mindset with a can-do attitude.
