This role is critical during a period of rapid growth for DP World Contract Logistics in the U.S. and Mexico. The Senior Launch Specialist plays a key role in implementing new business with excellence—delivering scalable, high-performing, and sustainable operations that meet DP World's standards by executing our proven launch blueprint. Acting as a systems lead and operational liaison, you will ensure that complex launches are delivered on time, on spec, and ready to perform at full capacity from the start.

The Launch Specialist – Systems & Data leads the systems and data workstream for complex or large-scale warehouse launches. Acting as a key liaison between IT and Operations, this role ensures comprehensive system configuration, reporting setup, training coordination, and project alignment—delivering a smooth and successful launch experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead system configuration and UAT for new business implementations
• Develop and execute test scenarios for both internal and customer-facing UAT
• Serve as the go-to system subject matter expert throughout the launch
• Define and implement launch reporting requirements
• Guide process design activities, including labor standards and SOP creation
• Provide training content and support for operational trainers
• Lead or contribute significantly to the launch project plan and governance
• Provide weekly status updates and escalate critical issues to leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across all phases
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing
  
  

Qualifications, Experience And Skills

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse systems, or operational project implementation
• Proven expertise in WMS configuration, UAT execution, and integration
• Advanced understanding of process flow design and reporting tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, and Power BI or equivalent
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (certification preferred)
