We are seeking a Laser Programmer to join our team. This is a salaried position with a negotiable salary based on experience. The role offers flexibility, with shifts available from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., depending on your preference.
This position involves programming and operating Amada laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience with DXF file interpretation, machine operation, and quality control. Strong communication skills are preferred, and bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Laser Programmer Duties and Responsibilities
- Program and operate Amada laser cutting machines to meet production requirements.
- Utilize DXF files, layering, and color coding to distinguish etching from cut-through holes.
- Select and apply appropriate gas types based on material thickness.
- Ensure material handling, packaging, and labeling align with company standards.
- Create restock and finished goods tags.
- Maintain quality control by reviewing and correcting DXF files and verifying parts with Fabri-Vision.
- Complete in-process inspection forms and ensure customer order tolerances are met.
- Perform daily machine maintenance and troubleshoot programming issues.
Laser Programmer Qualifications and Requirements
- Bilingual (Preferred) – Strong communication skills in English and another language.
- Experience programming and operating Amada laser cutting machines, including DXF file interpretation.
- Proficiency in computer-based laser programming and understanding of steel terminology (gauge, tolerances, etc.).
- Ability to read technical drawings, use precision measuring tools (micrometers), and ensure quality standards.
- High school diploma preferred; must be able to lift and maneuver materials as required.
