Role Objective

We are seeking a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our UAV manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machines, working with metal and composite materials, and ensuring high-precision cuts for UAV components.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Operate and maintain laser cutting machines for precise cutting of UAV parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and cutting specifications to execute accurate cuts.
• Adjust machine settings (power, speed, focus) based on material type and thickness.
• Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and prevent defects.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Work closely with design and production teams to optimize material usage and efficiency.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed while handling machinery and materials.
• Maintain logs and records of production output and machine performance.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience operating laser cutting machines, preferably in aerospace, UAV, or precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and CAD designs.
• Hands-on experience with fiber laser or CO2 laser cutting machines.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC machine operations.
• Ability to work with metal sheets, carbon fiber, and composite materials.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance procedures.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Experience in aerospace, UAV, or automotive manufacturing.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Bangalore, India, with occasional evening or weekend work.
