As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Landscape Designer. This position will start as an internship position, with the potential to be offered a full-time formal position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design and a keen eye for aesthetics, with a focus on creating functional and visually appealing spaces. This role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and other design team members to bring design concepts to life. We are open to hiring recent graduates (OPT sponsorship available) preferably with work experience in design related fields. Potential candidates should live within commutable distance from the company office and dedicate working collaboratively with other team members. Qualifications: Recent graduates or entry-level professionals with related backgrounds. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Work experience in related role preferred Mandarin & English Proficiency required Architectural background/experience preferred Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and previous projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and others. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Responsibilities: Execute landscape remodel projects from concept to completion with precision and efficiency. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Bring client visions to life, ensuring projects meet or exceed expectations. Utilize expertise in patio covers/pergolas, concrete work, irrigation systems, and all facets of landscape remodel construction. Provide guidance on plant selection and placement, leveraging knowledge of local flora and landscaping principles. Conduct thorough site assessments and develop comprehensive project plans accordingly. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design concepts are executed accurately and timely. Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and products. Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Provide administrative support to senior designers, such as sourcing materials, preparing presentations, and liaising with clients.
