Integrated design studio (IDS) is seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our growing design team. Ideal candidates will be graphically talented, technically savvy, fluent at multi-tasking, and inspired to learn. Our office in Mill Valley, CA is home to a dynamic multidisciplinary design collaborative of architects, engineers, and designers, and outdoor display gardens.

IDS offers competitive compensation, including paid vacation, full medical and dental benefits, and our "flexible Friday" program. Compensation is based on experience. Job is in office or on sites 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday (remote Fridays).
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects from design vision through construction
Manage clients and guide them through the design process
Coordinate design consultant teams
Manage construction documents, including specification of details and materials
Develop site plans, planting plans, irrigation plans, and vegetation management plans
Interpret and apply building code, planning, and other permitting requirements
Manage permit submittals, bidding process, and construction observation
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and public presentations
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MA degree in landscape architecture (mandatory)
Minimum 7 years of experience working in a landscape architect office (licensure preferred)
Experience organizing and supervising project workflow from design concept through the development of design drawings, and into construction details
High level of experience with construction details and on-site construction administration
Experience with budgets and client management
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
