Survey Crew Chief This position will work on a 2 person survey crew. You will be responsible for accurately gathering all field evidence, compiling data, keeping notes, and organizing project information. Duties and Responsibilities: * Operation of survey equipment * Compile field notes to company standards * Make sketches and enter data into the computer * Boundary, Topo, routing, and construction staking surveys * Manage crew and report to Licensed Surveyor * Other duties as assigned by supervisors Qualifications: * Experience with Trimble, GNSS equipment and Trimble Access a must. Optical Digital levels and total stations experience preferred. * Must be willing to travel * Be able to work overtime and weekends * Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions on a regular basis including extreme cold and heat * Ability to lift 50 lbs * Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel and perform other related physical activities for long periods of time * Ability to walk on uneven surfaces * Must be able to pass DOT required drug test * Must have a clean motor vehicle report Experience: * Minimum 2 years as a crew chief * 4 years experience surveying Benefits: * Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after waiting period is met, this includes: health, dental, vision and life insurance as well as 401K participation * Vacation, paid time off and holiday pay This job description is subject to change at any time.
