Summary

You've worked for 5-15 years or more with a land development consultancy.

You have your sights set on working as a Project Manager. You may have made headway in the last few years with that goal but it's still slow going.

Here's a role which will allow you to achieve those dreams faster, without cutting corners. If you have the right attitude, and align yourself with the right people, big things happen.

This is big.

Join this new / not new (call me for info here) consultant and join the pathway to a wholly satisfying and thriving career. You'll be well placed here if you're ambitious.

The role

  • Manage land development projects (resi, sports, industrial) end to end, with as much or as little support as you need.
  • Use design skills honed previously, to help you find your way through the problem solving parts. You may have come from construction in land development - this is great too.
  • Learn 1:1 from a recognised figure in the land development industry.
  • Be introduced to clients, attend meetings, network
  • Manage resourcing and financials on projects (as much or as little support as you need).

What's in it for me?

  • There may be a table tennis table here. This is a mature work environment. Play as you need, go home when needed. Get the work done and have fun doing it.
  • A multi-disciplinary work environment (structures, civils, transport)
  • Easy access in and out of the city. Parks really close - easy lunchtime walks and vitamin D top ups.
  • Cool people. Down to earth people. Astute people. Smart people. People you'll want to learn from.

What we need from you

  • You'll need a civil engineering degree
  • You'll need design or consruction auditing experience locally
  • An understanding of the land development market and what happens when
  • Ideally, some PM experience
  • .. and a drive to move from design into PM, or, to keep going in PM.
  • Grace and humility. You might not be the tea-runner but this is a relatively new group so it's all hands on deck. They get stuck in here.
