Position Overview
The Land Development Project Manager will oversee the planning and execution of land development projects, ensuring compliance with zoning regulations and efficient site development. This role requires strong technical knowledge in land development design, as well as the ability to manage projects from conception through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee land development projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
- Communicate with local government agencies regarding zoning regulations and permitting.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential development projects.
- Supervise contractor and subcontractor activities during construction phases.
- Implement erosion control measures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in land and site development for mixed-use/transit-oriented design, government facilities, residential, commercial, office, utilities and infrastructure, and/or mission critical/data center projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other design software related to civil engineering.
- Strong understanding of grading and utility design principles.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification preferred.
- Experience with project management and construction management best practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of GIS systems, subdivision design, and zoning regulations is beneficial.
