Land Development Manager – Raleigh, NC

We’re representing a top national homebuilder that’s actively seeking a Land Development Manager to join their Raleigh team. This is a high-impact role focused on overseeing site development operations, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver communities on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage horizontal land development projects from permitting through construction and turnover.
• Coordinate with municipalities, engineers, contractors, and utility providers.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality control across multiple active communities.
• Provide technical oversight on site plans, grading, and infrastructure.
• Support entitlement and permitting activities as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in land development or site construction (preferably with a residential builder or developer).
• Strong knowledge of local development processes in the Raleigh-Durham area.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
