Position Overview

The Land Development Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of land development projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and government agencies, to facilitate successful project outcomes while adhering to company objectives and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage land development projects from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
  • Obtain the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for land development.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate land potential.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning regulations and environmental standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local government and community organizations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff in land development practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development or construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of land development processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
