The primary responsibility of a Laboratory Test Engineer is to conduct various tests on automotive systems and components to ensure quality standards and safety requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning: Collaborate with the product development team and OEM teams to understand project requirements and assist in creating test plans for automotive systems and components.
  • Test Execution: Conduct hands-on testing on during Design Validations and Process Validation phases , as per predefined test procedures.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather test data and carry out result analysis to evaluate the performance and reliability of automotive systems.
  • Compliance Testing: Ensure that automotive products comply with safety standards and regulations by conducting basic safety tests.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of test procedures, data, and test results. Prepare clear and concise test reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate testing progress and report findings.


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in automotive testing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures accurately.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
