We're hiring a part-time lab technician to manage cell culture, perform transfections, and prepare cells for imaging. 

The role is 5-10 h/wk at our lab in MBC BioLabs, Mission Bay.

Qualifications 

• Proficient in cell culture techniques, particularly with HEK cells  
• Proficient in transfection
• Knowledge of microscopy techniques and their applications in biological research
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team

Preferred qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 1+ year of post-grad experience in biology
