Location: Cicero, IL

Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

Duration: 12 month contract-to-hire

DESCRIPTION:

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurance/control.
• Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues.
• Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards.
• Technology: LIMS, SAP, Excel
• Bachelors Degree in scientific discipline strongly preferred
• Position will receive direction and support.

Facility and laboratory operate 5:30AM to 6:30-7:30PM.

Initially, LabTech hours are (7:00AM-3:00PM) for training only

Once the LabTech is fully trained and demonstrates independence, they will move to a later shift: 9:30AM- close(5:30 - 6:30PM) or early shift, (5:30 am – 1:30 pm).
