We are looking for a Laboratory Digital Applications Manager who is proactive, innovative, and enthusiastic to join our CMC Development Digital Sciences team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud (BE).

About The Role

As the Laboratory Digital Applications Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of digital solutions, namely Electronic Lab Notebooks and Inventory systems. You will coordinate the support and evolution of these solutions, ensuring trusted data and contributing to implementation projects.

Who You Will Work With

You will report to the Digital Laboratory Operations Lead and collaborate with business Key Users (across multiple locations including Braine-l'Alleud, Leuven, Monheim and Slough) IT Digital Technology experts, Digital Deployment Leads, and various stakeholders (QA, Suppliers, etc.) to ensure effective support, successful implementation and evolution of digital solutions.

What You Will Do

• Operational Management: you will oversee day-to-day management of digital solutions, including administration, maintenance, releases, updates, and improvements.
• Coordination: you will work closely with Key Users and Digital Technology to support and evolve digital solutions.
• Data Security: you will ensure trusted data for digital solutions and maintain relevant access management and cybersecurity.
• Project Contribution: you will participate in implementation projects and build digital understanding and capabilities across the organization.
• Stakeholder Communication: you will facilitate professional and collaborative communications with suppliers and UCB stakeholders, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness of changes and new functionalities.

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in laboratory digital//technology/IT solutions management.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, especially development, research, or GxP manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IT applications and service delivery management.
• Mix of technical and functional skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and initiate change activities.
• Professional attitude towards colleagues and external parties.
