Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory & Operations Associate to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures to support the processing and analysis of biological specimens. Your responsibilities will include the isolation and preparation of fresh and cryopreserved cell-based products from human blood and bone marrow, adhering to strict quality standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
In addition, you will provide critical support for Quality Control (QC) activities and inventory logistics, ensuring the smooth movement, storage, inspection, and release of raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory & Quality Control
- Perform cell processing and analysis using various laboratory instruments and techniques in accordance with SOPs, GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and applicable regulations.
- Conduct immunological and functional cell-based assays including cell counts, viability, and purity assessments.
- Accurately document and process specimens, reagents, and materials using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Review batch records and support material disposition for fresh shipments.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and environmental monitoring of laboratory equipment and temperature-controlled units.
Operations & Logistics
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Donor Centers, and Quality Assurance teams to support the receipt, inspection, release, and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
- Schedule and execute routine cycle counts; maintain accurate inventory using ERP systems.
- Coordinate internal issuance and shipment of materials/products, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Drive cross-functional production planning and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field, preferably with emphasis in Immunology or Hematology.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in a clinical, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with immunomagnetic cell isolation and immunological assays such as flow cytometry.
- Hands-on proficiency with a wide range of lab equipment and cell-based assays.
- Familiarity with ERP and LIMS systems is preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of GLP and quality documentation standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with fresh and frozen human blood samples.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or inventory control within a lab or clinical setting.
- ERP system experience for inventory tracking and material transactions.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
