Piper Health & Sciences is actively recruiting for several entry-level Laboratory Assistant roles to gain hands-on experience with ELISA testing, cell cultures, and other immunoassays. Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician include: * Quality Control (QC) testing to support the organization's products * Performing ELISA assays, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing, cell cultures, and other laboratory tests * Precisely pipetting small sample volumes with a pipetter * Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assists in developing and implementing updated SOP guidelines * Performs various statistical analyses, utilizing programs such as SPSS and SAS * Updates and maintains records in the data system * Performs routine laboratory maintenance Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician include: * 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience * Bachelor's of Science Degree (BS) in a related field is preferred. Associate's degree (AAS) is required.
