About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience supporting attorneys in complex commercial litigation matters. You’ll play a vital role in managing case files, conducting legal research, and coordinating trial preparation across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with all phases of business litigation from case inception through resolution or trial.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and pretrial materials.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of discovery, including document collection, review, production, and analysis.
  • Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other tools.
  • Prepare case chronologies, deposition summaries, and trial exhibits.
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Manage deadlines and court calendars to ensure timely filings and case progression.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files using document management systems
  • Assist attorneys during trial and arbitration proceedings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business or commercial litigation at a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state litigation rules and procedures.
  • Proficiency with e-filing systems
  • Familiarity with legal research and litigation support tools
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting trial teams in court or arbitration.
  • Knowledge of business law, financial services, or regulatory litigation.
  • Google Suite
