Job Description
As a Label Dispatch Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of regulated products. You will print customer-facing labels and prepare lot-specific batch records, both independently and collaboratively, following established standard operating procedures. Your work will help meet or exceed quality specifications, and you'll need to effectively communicate with various work groups to ensure the completion of daily production tasks.
Responsibilities
- Print customer-facing labels for regulated products.
- Prepare lot-specific batch records individually and as part of a team.
- Ensure products meet or exceed quality specifications.
- Communicate effectively with work groups to complete daily production.
- Work in a standard laboratory environment adhering to PPE requirements.
- Complete company training requirements on time, operating within ISO and FDA standards.
- Interact largely with equivalent levels of internal personnel.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail in alpha, numerical text, and symbols.
- Peer review team members' work to catch errors.
- Collaborate with appropriate parties if discrepancies are found.
- Perform with high accuracy to prevent non-conforming products.
- Start work on-time daily and maintain strong attendance.
- Receive general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in labeling software and batch record management.
- Experience in laboratory settings and adherence to SOPs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and follow policies and procedures.
- Capability to meet production schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a life science company preferred.
- Biology or chemistry knowledge preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Bartender Label Printing Software preferred but not required.
Work Environment
You will work primarily in a clean room and office setting, mostly at a computer, reviewing batch records and creating labels. The role involves working with computers, documents, and printers such as Xerox and Sato label printers. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and will work in a GMP manufacturing environment, following PPE requirements. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10pm, and requires wearing company-provided safety gear including hairnet, beard net (if applicable), lab coat, and safety glasses. Closed shoes are mandatory, with no open heel, top, or toe areas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.09 - $21.09/hr.
