Job Description
Play a critical role in the development of new life sciences technology as a Reliability Lab Technician in the Reliability Engineering team within R&D, enabling our products to realize their promise to improve human health.
Conduct system level testing of our flagship product, support data collection and troubleshooting, support test fixture builds for subsystem testing. Enable successful launch on time.
Primary Duties Include The Following
Run system level reliability test on multiple instruments of our flagship product
Support set-up, qualification, maintenance of instruments under system reliability test
Capture test data in prescribed format. Convey failures/anomalies to reliability team
Support build-up of test fixtures for subsystem reliability tests
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting lab tests
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical labs handling biological samples
Demonstrated ability to utilize test and measurement equipment.
Expertise in test fixture build-up utilizing mechanical, electrical skills
Demonstrated technical ability of data collection, data maintenance, reports
Attention to detail, demonstrated ability to work productively in large cross-functional teams.
Willingness to prepare blood samples for testing (training will be provided).
In addition to the above minimum qualifications, the following are considered desirable:
Experience working in reliability discipline.
Knowledge of fluidics, optics, and electronics.
Soldering and Electrical assembly skills
Experience with test automation (LabVIEW, Arduino, etc).
