Summary

Manage the work of a team of lab service engineers (LSE) over 2 shifts and weekend coverage: train and develop team members, schedule team, plan and assign tasks, review completed tasks for quality, and set-up pass downs. Manage cleanroom operations projects, such as lab infrastructure projects and lab tool installation for Lam's Etch Product Group. Perform preventative maintenance, standard service, and troubleshooting on a variety of process modules, platforms, and subfab equipment. Plan and manage annual CapEx and OpEx budgets and spares. Reinforce safety protocols, drive safety improvements, and enhance safety culture. Work with product development teams for short-term and long-term lab space management. Develop workflow and business processes to improve efficiency for lab operations. Participate in new product CFTs to understand requirements and challenges as well as contribute input on performance. Author and/or validate procedures and BKM's for lab tools. Act as a focal point with facilities team to drive alignment, priority, and ensure successful execution of facilities expansion and improvement projects. Assure clear and constant communication between shifts and with stakeholders on all lab activities. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering with 4-6 years of supervisory experience. 10+ years of experience in cleanroom operations or facilities management. Good understanding of semiconductor equipment and their installation and maintenance requirements, as well as chemical safety and facilities requirements. Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Highly motivated to lead teams to success, continuously seeking improvement and driving projects to timely closure.
