Job Title: L3 Security Consultant.

Location: Bangalore 2 / Mumbai 2

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced L3 Security Engineer with a strong background in enterprise-grade network and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solution design, hands-on implementation, and advanced troubleshooting across a broad portfolio of security technologies, including firewalls, load balancers, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Solution Design:

• Design, plan, and implement network security architectures tailored to business needs.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper SRX firewalls, F5 & Radware load balancers, and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Develop HLD/LLD documents for new security deployments and upgrades.
• Integrate SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) for centralized log management and threat detection.

Day-2 Support & Operations:

• Provide L3 support for incident resolution, performance tuning, and policy optimization.
• Handle complex escalations, root cause analysis, and permanent resolution planning.
• Participate in change management, patch management, and configuration reviews.
• Monitor, fine-tune, and respond to security alerts and anomalies using EDR/XDR/SIEM tools.

Security Compliance & Audits:

• Ensure implemented solutions are compliant with industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
• Assist in internal and external security audits, risk assessments, and documentation.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with network, SOC, and application teams for cross-functional projects.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) during client meetings and solution discussions.

Firewall & Network Security:

• Check Point GAiA, SmartConsole, MDS
• Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
• Palo Alto NGFWs (Pan-OS, Panorama)
• Juniper SRX and Security Director

Load Balancing & DDoS Protection:

• F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM, APM modules)
• Radware Alteon, DefensePro

Endpoint & Threat Detection:

• EDR/XDR Platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR)
• Antivirus, DLP, and sandboxing technologies

SIEM & Log Management:

• Splunk, IBM QRadar, LogRhythm, or similar

General:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, NAT, IPS/IDS
• Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Ansible) – desirable
• Cloud Security exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) – preferred

Certifications (Preferred):

• Check Point CCSA/CCSE
• Fortinet NSE 4/5/6/7
• Palo Alto PCNSE
• F5 Certified Administrator/Engineer
• Radware Certified Professional
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant industry certs
