We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar’24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. What Will You Do

As an L2 - Linux Administrator at NPST, you will play a key role in managing and resolving production and system-related issues, ensuring seamless operations across our fintech platforms. You will support critical applications such as MBS, IMPS, and UPI switch, collaborate with various teams, and provide technical expertise in maintaining the overall system infrastructure.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Address and resolve issues raised by L1 resources and the system team.
  • Handle production issues reported by banks and other entities.
  • Perform log analysis, identify bugs, and escalate unresolved issues to the offshore team.
  • Analyse customer complaints and provide timely responses.
  • Merchant support- data analysis, query resolution and reconciliation support.
  • Support merchants by conducting data analysis, resolving queries, and assisting with reconciliation.
  • Map environments and assist with integration coordination between various departments and vendors.
  • Address and resolve development-related issues, ensuring quick fixes at the property level.
  • Provide post go-live and UAT support for smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of production issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for development needs, requirement gathering, and project sign-offs.
  • Roles may evolve based on business requirements but will primarily focus on system and project-related management.

What Are We Looking For

  • Experience in IT technical applications and interfaces, along with infrastructure and network support, covering customization, implementation, and configuration.
  • Familiarity with internet banking, mobile banking, UPI, and payment services, including customization, implementation, configuration, and a thorough understanding of banking operations such as RTGS, NEFT, EOD, and BOD processes.
  • Expertise in vendor management and customization.
  • Must have worked as L1 support for at least one scheduled commercial bank in India.
  • Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
  • Coordinate with any other support or dependency groups in bank in case the issue has any linkage.
  • To provide guidance and resolve technical incidents escalated by bank,
  • Experience with customer and merchant support is a plus.
  • To co-ordinate with L3 team for technical understanding and resolution.
  • Deployment support to DCM team.
  • Work in a 24 X 7 Environment.
  • Identify capacity and availability issues
  • Apply patches to the OS / applications or upgrade the applications as and when required, as per the approval from the respective Team Leaders / stakeholders.

Education Qualification - Graduate in Engineering or any degree with Redhat certification

Certification- Application Development

Experience – 3+ years

Industry - IT/Software/BFSI/ Banking /Fintech

Work arrangement – As per Roaster & Client Schedule.

Location – Bengaluru
