Job Title: L2 Networking Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Network resource for Hands & Feet Support to be based in the Schenectady NY Site. Resource skill set should be an L2 Engineer to perform the below mentioned task .

• The intent is that this hands-on engineer would be a part of the larger Operations team.

• Resource would focus on Schenectady, but also assist with other close by sites (Niskayuna, Rotterdam, Syracuse, Balltown Road, etc).

• Resource to provide any standard network related support (hardware adds/removes, configuration, jumper cabling, etc) with the help of remote Operations as needed.

• Resource to work closely with site and region leads, existing network engineers, deskside support, and other IT members.

• Resource to coordinate with supplier and vendor visits (local cabling teams, internet service providers, voice/video, server installers, etc).

• Ability to collaborate and communicate well is very important as this is one of our most critical manufacturing sites.
