Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Kubernetes Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Orlando, Florida.

Duties:

• Work closely with application and technology teams from across the company
• Monitor the end-to-end digital and physical guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives
• Report to the Manager, Systems Engineering

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of related work experience within Kubernetes
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes
• Technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems
• Ability to troubleshoot applications and systems
• Expertise in maintaining web, caching, and queuing technologies in large high traffic environments
• Expertise in architecting highly scalable and highly available systems
• Expertise in a public cloud such as: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Proficiency with containerization
• Proficiency in a programming language such as: Powershell, Python, Ruby, etc.
• Proficiency with distributed version control systems with Continuous Integration/Deployment techniques
• Proficiency supporting SQL & Oracle technologies
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Proficiency in Kubernetes & Rancher, VMWare, DevSecOps, and Automation, with a proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
• RedHat OpenShift experience preferred
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
