Job Description:
Knowledge Manager
GDIT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Knowledge Manager to support the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. HOW THE KNOWLEDGE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
* Establish, implement, and execute Standard Operating Procedures for Knowledge Management of MTC information.
* Operate and maintain current and future knowledge management systems and tools.
* The knowledge Management will include following requirements;
* Web-based portals, Out/inward facing site, portal access, content management, and training.
* Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs), capturing lessons learned, and incorporate feedback into future exercises.
* Closely work with the planning team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
* Education: BA/BS or combination of education and experience
* Required Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Required Technical Skills:
* Proven experience in operational planning, process optimization, and project management
* Strong understanding of how knowledge management principles and practices fit into the exercise life cycle.
* Experience with knowledge management systems and tools (such as MS Outlook, Army 365 SharePoint, and MS Teams).
* Strong Experience with Windows Servers.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
* Desired Skills:
* Knowledge in Army and Joint Exercise Life Cycle. Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC requirements and training objectives.
* Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of Army and Joint training programs.
* Proficiency in utilizing knowledge management tools and platforms.
* Familiar with the exercise and training.
* Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required to start
* Required Certification(s): KMI Certification, and Comp TIA Security (+)
* Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $86,424 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
