Overview Of Position
FEDITC is seeking a
Knowledge Management & Automation Technician to work in
San Antonio, TX (Lackland AFB).
A United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI CI/Poly DoD Security Clearance are required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage, integrate, automate, streamline, economize, and maintain unit SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA webpages.
- Provide expert advice and training to unit personnel on the use of these platforms.
- Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of knowledge management systems, technologies, and best practices to advise leadership on potential upgrades.
- Automate and maintain various unit tracking systems, including:
- Ancillary Training Tracker
- Qualification and Training Database
- Standardization/Evaluation Database
- Operator Proficiency Tracker
- Mission Crew Scheduling
- Personnel Status and Data Management
- Integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into unit data retention, storage, and analysis processes.
- Work with Mission Support (MS) and the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with 001 Combat Support Team (001 CST) developers to integrate custom scripts and software solutions.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integrating AI and ML into data management processes.
- Experience with the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework.
Experience/Skills
- Proven experience in managing and utilizing knowledge management systems, such as SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of big data platforms (BDP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and similar services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications
- Certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, Network+, A+ in accordance with DoDM 8140 IAT II requirements)
Clearance
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
