Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager plays a vital role in the daily operations and overall performance of the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring effective facility management, upholding contractual obligations, managing client relationships, and achieving operational and financial targets. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role also involves leading facility teams, ensuring compliance, and aligning efforts with both company standards and client expectations.
Key Result Areas and Responsibilities:
Facility Management
Ensure the facilitys upkeep and appearance meet both company and client-defined KPIs.
Supervise HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Strategically plan and assign space in line with company and client requirements.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Develop and implement tailored SOPs for each site to mitigate risks and ensure high operational quality.
Contractual Compliance
Interpret and deliver on the commitments outlined in service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
Account & Financial Management
Manage the accounts financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of monthly profit and loss reports.
Optimize revenue and enhance cost-efficiency across accounts.
Reporting & Meetings
Provide the Division Director with regular updates on operational, financial, and human resource matters.
Engage in regular meetings with clients and internal teams to assess performance and progress.
People Management & Development
Lead and manage technicians and support teams to ensure scope completion within KPI metrics.
Apply disciplinary actions in line with company policies when needed.
Coordinate training programs through L&D to build staff capability.
Conduct performance reviews and establish improvement goals.
Authorities:
Manage timelines and budgets within defined scope.
Enforce corporate policies and standards within the operational team.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and handle issue resolution.
Conduct performance assessments and manage disciplinary actions.
Deliver regular reports to both management and clients.
Drive initiatives focused on performance improvement and team training.
Key Competencies Required:
Facilities Management: Strong knowledge in operational maintenance, equipment coordination, and quality control.
Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Leadership & Performance Management: Demonstrated capability in team leadership, staff evaluation, and motivation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to present clearly and build rapport with stakeholders.
Client & Relationship Management: Skilled in maintaining strong client and internal team relationships.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management, planning, and presentation capabilities.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other reporting tools.
