As the Account Manager for Molex's Tier 1 Module Maker Automotive, you will be at the forefront of shaping and driving sales strategies for our esteemed Europe customers. This pivotal role not only focuses on safeguarding our existing business but also on pioneering growth initiatives that align with Molex's strategic vision. You will be instrumental in nurturing and deepening relationships with key accounts, delivering unparalleled customer service, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your mission will be to identify and seize opportunities to enhance Molex's footprint in the market. We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives on independence, is quick to embrace new technologies, and is dedicated to unlocking new business prospects.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and align sector-specific annual sales forecasts with strategic business goals
  • Design and implement customized account strategies to meet customer-specific needs
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships across customer organizations
  • Lead and coordinate both indirect and direct teams to achieve objectives and foster professional development
  • Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution in alignment with customer expectations
  • Manage global pricing for customers, conduct comprehensive market research, and facilitate negotiations with Product Management
  • Identify and convert Salesforce opportunities into profitable ventures
  • Strategically communicate within the company, highlighting key insights about customer needs, market dynamics, and growth opportunities
  • Track competitor activities and market trends, documenting key insights in the Account Playbook


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in managing automotive industry accounts, developing tailored account strategies, and executing pricing strategies through market research and negotiations
  • Experience working with and selling passive electronic/electromechanical components
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel approx. 30% of the time


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Economics
  • Experience selling to Tier accounts (Module Makers)
  • Experience with automotive processes and procedures
