Key Account Manager - Retailers and Trade

up to £55,000 basic + quarterly bonus (£15K OTE) + extra incentives

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is the kind of role that suits someone who gets things done by being likeable, helpful and switched-on. You'll be the face of a respected brand across Scotland – working closely with trade distributors and professional end-users to build lasting partnerships. This isn't about quick wins or cold-calling. It's about showing up, solving problems and following through.

THE ROLE

You'll split your time between supporting and developing key wholesale accounts (50%) and working directly with the professional contractors who use the products every day (50%).

  • Help wholesalers grow their sales by understanding their priorities and working collaboratively.
  • Guide contractors through product ranges, support them with information and training, and help drive repeat business.
  • Regular, repeat orders – not one-hit deals.

ABOUT YOU

You've already got experience in a field-based customer-facing role – maybe in construction products, technical consumables, tools or materials. You know how wholesale works. You're sharp, curious and reliable – the kind of person people like doing business with. You take pride in doing what you say you'll do.
