About The Position

Location: Athens, Greece

As Key Account Manager – Professional Chains & Industrial, your primary objective will be to collaboratively grow the customer’s business, moving towards a more concept-driven partnership, while proactively identifying new business opportunities both within and beyond the existing customer and product portfolio.

This role focuses on new business development and customer portfolio management within the Greek Foodservice channel, with a particular emphasis on major international and local key chains, as well as key accounts in industrial and food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Developer:

  • Analyze market and customer data to generate insights, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align these with our company’s ambitions and strategic direction.
  • Translate insights into actionable business and account plans that address current needs and create new opportunities.
  • Embrace ambition and seize business opportunities, taking ownership and driving results.
  • Deliver both volume and profit growth.

As a Key Account Manager

  • Put customer needs first in everything you do.
  • Drive and execute account plans to meet budget targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships using a structured contact matrix.
  • Position Flora Food Group as a branded, concept-driven partner in our core categories, and integrate our must-win battles into account strategies.
  • Drive long-term, profitable volume growth.
  • Negotiate solid, value-driven agreements with customers.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Several years of progressive sales experience, including managing large strategic accounts.
  • Preferred experience in the industrial food service market, particularly with food chains or the HoReCa sector.
  • Experience working with international clients in foreign markets is a strong asset.
  • Proven track record in managing large, complex accounts with multiple stakeholders, and confidence working cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
  • Strong analytical skills in identifying market trends and translating them into top-line, margin, and volume strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with finance partners to build sustainable and profitable customer relationships.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to align industry trends with customer needs and Flora Food Professional’s long-term strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, financial, and time-management skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English is required.
