About The Role

As a Key Account Manager Pharma, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that you achieve the designated sales targets by developing and maintaining profitable business relationships with both new and existing customers. You will take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting and negotiation to closing deals and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. This role is vital to drive growth and build long-term partnerships within the pharmaceutical sector.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies, utilizing available sales and marketing programs to meet and exceed designated targets.
  • Lead negotiations with customers to establish favorable terms and conditions that align with both the company’s and clients' needs.
  • Introduce new products and services to clients, and organize regular visits to both current and potential customers to foster relationships and drive sales expansion.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of each client's business, to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with established clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service is consistently delivered, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives and departments when clients require additional support or services beyond your scope.

Who You Are

  • A graduate or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in similar sales roles, with a proven track record of success in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Experience negotiating and establishing commercial agreements with major retail chains or in the pharmacy sector (e.g., Farmacias Peruanas) is highly preferred.
  • Desirable experience in mass consumption companies, particularly in negotiating agreements and managing relationships within the modern retail channel or pharmacies.
