JOB SUMMARY


AerCap Materials is seeking a Key Accounts Manager who will implement growth strategies for key account(s) and establish/grow customer relationships within assigned region(s), in addition to coordinating leads with internal sales teams against established targets and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Implement growth strategy in assigned region(s) for the company’s core competencies, which includes Daily Sales, Daily Purchasing, Large Program Sales, Large Purchases, Support Programs and Repair Management.
  • Implement marketing plans to meet/exceed established sales goals & targets by increasing existing customer penetration and/or opening new customer accounts.
  • Pursue new markets and customers.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Develop relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Identify customers’ business decision-making process.
  • Communicate directly with customers to generate revenue opportunities.
  • Annual travel expectation minimum 20%.
  • Develop/execute quarterly travel plan, visit customers identified within the plan and complete trip reports detailing meeting minutes and general discussions.
  • Attend relevant industry trade show events as required throughout the year.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients.
  • Have a working knowledge of competitor product offerings and services and report activity within established ethical guidelines.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability; make continuous improvements; monitor Company quality levels and own & act on quality problems utilizing The Quality Management System.
  • Execute strategies in conjunction with internal sales leader to achieve company goals.
  • Provide Aircraft on ground/AOG (on call) support as needed.


JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES


Educational/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree desirable and a minimum 4 years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • Experience working with MS Office, preferably MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience conducting presentations and facilitating business objectives.
