My client is a fast-growing family-owned business in frozen foods, structured around three units: Vegetables, Fruits, and Ready Meals. Focused on private label, they serve various clients across retail, industry, food service, and wholesale. About the role

As Key Account Manager – Fruits, you'll drive the growth of your client portfolio. You'll build long-term relationships, lead pricing negotiations, and ensure timely product delivery with the support of internal teams. You'll track market trends and share insights to help shape strategy while handling customer complaints and complex cases. You will also handle forecasting and budget management for your client portfolio. Regular reporting and participation in international fairs are part of the role. You’ll report directly to the Sales Manager.

🎯 Your responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for your client portfolio.
  • Manage long-term relationships and drive customer growth.
  • Negotiate prices, credits, and discounts.
  • Ensure on-time delivery, working closely with production and supply chain teams.
  • Track market trends and provide internal insights.
  • Handle customer complaints, escalating the most sensitive issues.
  • Present reports and updates regularly.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs.
  • Collaborate across various departments for seamless operations.


The ideal candidate

  • Education & experience: Master’s degree with 3-5 years in commercial roles, ideally in the frozen food or bakery sector.
  • Skills: Strong in KPI management and customer relationship management.
  • Soft skills: Proactive, solution-oriented, and a team player.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English. German is a plus.
  • Tools: Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
  • Travel: Willing to travel 20-30% of the time.
