About The Position

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for National Accounts in the Netherlands. Thanks to your experience and your powerful network within the Dutch Foodservice landscape you will be able to build sustainable relationships and to leverage substantial growth. One of the most important winning pillars is our competitive advantage versus dairy helping big National Accounts with ESG/CSRD regulations. Growth in Foodservice has top priority at Flora Food Group. Your strong personality and entrepreneurial spirit will help you to exploit opportunities to achieve growth in both short and long term.

The role We are growing and are looking for a Key Account Manager National Accounts to join our Sales team. As a Key Account Manager at Flora Food Group you will have an exciting opportunity to own your customer plans and build strong customer relationships at HQ level in order to grow our business. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the business we have at National Accounts in different Foodservice channels. Your role is to launch successful hybrid/plant-based propositions which help and inspire chefs to create delicious and healthy menus in a convenient way. Our brands, the exciting journey of hybrid/plant-based products and the effect the reduction of carbon footprint brings to the world will provide a great challenge and development of the company and our employees. Key Accountabilities Include

  • Establish and secure a great relationship between Flora Food Group and the customers.
  • Create customer plans from deep understanding of consumer trends in foodservice.
  • Secure world class launches and distribution of new products and assortment.
  • Secure profitable sales with triple win (customer, wholesaler and Flora Food Group).
  • Work in cross-functional teams with marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and finance to drive business performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and follow up on the business with our customers.

What Does It Take to Be Successful?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for and expertise in Foodservice, alongside a proven track record in Key Account Management (KAM) or National Accounts. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, while also demonstrating a strong willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities—both hands-on and strategic. With an entrepreneurial mindset, they will bring a customer-focused attitude, excellent communication, and presentation skills. Strong negotiation abilities, combined with a good understanding of business financials and analytical skills, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, and fluency in both Dutch and English is a must.
