Summary

Reports to: Sr. Sales Director / VP of Sales


Overview: This role will support the growth and performance of national and regional accounts within the Chains, Retail, and Pro division for two national brands BosleyMD and Keranique. This role will be responsible for executing customer-specific business plans, managing sales forecasts, optimizing promotional calendars, and aligning cross-functional efforts to drive sales, profitability, and brand presence across assigned customer partners.


Key Responsibilities:


Account Planning & Forecasting

  • Partner with the Senior Sales Director to develop account-level sales and promotional forecasts by SKU and by month.
  • Own monthly forecast submissions and updates, including mid-month pulse checks and 3–6-month rolling outlooks.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to support inventory planning and demand accuracy.
  • Assist in quarterly business reviews and P&L analysis for assigned accounts.


Business Execution & Analysis

  • Track and analyze performance metrics (sell-in, sell-through, inventory levels) across key accounts.
  • Identify business opportunities, competitive threats, and program effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, sales recaps, and KPI dashboards.


Promotional Planning & Calendar Management

  • Maintain an accurate promotional and event calendar per account.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales Ops to execute promotions, new item launches, and in-store/online programs.
  • Ensure timely customer submissions for promotional support and retailer portals.


New Business Development & Strategic Growth

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand SHR’s distribution footprint across national and regional retail, chain, and professional channels.
  • Cultivate new account relationships and open incremental points of distribution with retailers, distributors, and professional partners.
  • Develop tailored sell-in strategies for untapped accounts or white space categories.
  • Partner with leadership to pitch new business proposals and negotiate strategic deals.
  • Track and report on business development pipeline and success metrics.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Marketing, Education, Finance, and Operations teams to align on program execution and support tools.
  • Support briefing and delivery of sell-in materials, samples, and trade assets.
  • Help organize customer meetings, line reviews, and strategy presentations.


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a CPG, beauty, or retail sales support role; prior experience managing chain or mass retail accounts preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in forecasting and promotional planning.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with customers and internal leadership.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Location:

  • Hybrid-based, 2 Days in work in the office (Marina Del Rey), 3 Days Work from Home.
  • Some domestic travel required (25%) For Buyer Meetings & Tradeshows.
