English Language Arts (ELA) Consultant (K-12; part-time)

Ideal Instruction is dedicated to growing teachers and leaders across K-12 spaces and showcasing their talent. Our methodology combines professional learning, job-embedded coaching, and videography. By focusing on instructional improvement, we aim to boost academic success and outcomes for the teachers and students we serve.

Role Description

This is a part-time role from August 2025 - June 2026 for a K-12 ELA Consultant at Ideal Instruction. The Consultant will be responsible for providing job-embedded coaching during school hours (8a-3p) across K-12 NYC DOE campuses.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified teacher in a K-12 setting.
• A minimum of 3 years of instructional coaching experience.
• A demonstrated track record of improving student data in ELA.
• Experience developing and delivering professional development for a K-12 setting.
• A passion for start-up companies and a desire to help promote growth.
• A commitment to closing the opportunity gap for all students in K-12 systems.
