Job Title: Juniper Firewall L2 Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage Juniper firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues, providing L2 support for escalated incidents.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement security policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, security policies, and procedures.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on security best practices.
• Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization's security posture remains robust.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant technology, with a focus on Juniper firewall systems.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, and security best practices.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as JNCIS-SEC, JNCIP-SEC, or equivalent are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other security technologies such as VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
