About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and tech-savvy Junior Systems Engineer and IT Help Desk to join our team and support one of our most strategic enterprise clients. This role offers hands-on experience across IT systems and user support, with a strong focus on managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.

 


Key Responsibilities

·      Provide 1st-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.

·      Actively support and administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive) and Active Directory services,

including account creation, password policies, and user/group management.

·      Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and basic server/network infrastructure.

·      Monitor system and network performance, ensuring uptime and minimal disruptions.

·      Assist with endpoint security, patch management, and IT asset inventory.

·      Handle user onboarding/offboarding (setup of email, access rights, etc.).

·      Escalate advanced issues to senior team members and collaborate for resolution.

·      Document IT procedures, configuration steps, and user guidelines.

·      Participate in technical projects involving upgrades, deployments, and maintenance.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline.

·      1–2 years of professional experience in IT support/help desk/system administration.

·      Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Active Directory and Office 365 is a must.

·      Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.

·      Familiarity with networking basics (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

·      Problem-solving attitude with strong organizational and communication skills.

·      Customer-oriented approach and ability to work under pressure.

·      Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of IT issues.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

·      Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, M365 Fundamentals.

·      Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

·      Basic IT security awareness and use of endpoint protection tools.

·      Experience with ticketing/helpdesk platforms.
