Requirements: 

• Basics of Test Planning, Manual Testing, Integration Testing, Functional testing, Requirement understanding and analysis 
• Creation of Test Plan/Test Strategy/ Test Approach for projects across multiple domains such as web/ mobile services 
• Knowledge of Test monitoring and control with strong knowledge of agile and scrum 
• Keen to learn Risk Management/ identification/ mitigation and contingency plans 
• Basics of Defect Management, test Estimation, review of test cases, test reporting to different types of stakeholders and customer management, test case creation and execution 
• Testing process models like Agile / V-model 
• Knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, etc. 
• Knowledge of API testing using SOAP / Postman Functional Testing 
• Experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs 
• Being able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learning in complex troubleshooting scenarios. 

Responsibilities: 

• Designing Quality Metrics as per project need and customer expectation 
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project 
• Creating, understanding and validating scenarios and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it 
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement 
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations. 
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs 
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken. 

Experience: 

• Minimum 1 Year of experience as a software tester 
• Candidates need to have basic knowledge of Software lifecycle.  

Qualification:  

B.Sc. (Computer Science), B. Tech minimum
