Responsibilities:
· Perform detailed test plans, procedures, and scenarios and document the successes and failures of all executed test procedures.
· Consult with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.
· Test existing applications for compliance with upgrades and ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily in the system environment.
· Interpret requirements and translate them into precise test cases.
· Tracking Backlog items, preparing Test Readiness Review Checklists (TRR), creating and following Test Execution Plan.
· Complete defects reports and tracking to resolution and End of Test Report (EOTR) documents.
· Troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and support development team to provide resolutions
· Detect, report, and explain defects effectively.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
· 2+ years of software development life cycle and testing experience.
· Must be highly organized and have a systematic approach to tracking and managing daily activities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently to deliver positive results.
· Strong "can-do" attitude, willing to do whatever it takes to support the project.
· Ability to take direction from manager, clarify the assignment and deliver quality output quickly.
